Millions of people are now working from home because of the COVID-19 crisis. While some have a comfortable home office, many are now working from the couch or the kitchen table.

That’s bad news for back health. Poor posture while sitting and standing can contribute to tense and overworked muscles. Weak core muscles don’t help, either.

Back pain makes it more difficult to focus, make decisions, and get a good night’s sleep – all of which may already be a challenge under these circumstances.

Fern Health’s back pain experts created our infographic to provide HR leaders with an easy way to share helpful, accurate advice on creating a more ergonomic workstation, whether employees are sitting at their table, on the couch, or even at their homemade standing desk.
